Jignesh started his career in the year 2000, marketing Water Treatment Chemicals. He had worked for 6 years with many large industries supplying chemical to treat the water in Industrial boilers. It is accidental that he ventured into swimming pools business. In early 2009, he met a person who was looking for a contract job to maintain swimming pools. Jignesh is passionate about water industry and loves sales. After speaking to this person, he started exploring swimming pools and found it is a niche industry with few players.
In the next few months, he started supplying chemicals for swimming pools and then equipment for swimming pools. Working closely and looking at swimming pools, he learnt the technicalities of building swimming pools. With that H2O Systems was started.
His first swimming pool project was another interesting story. It was a hotel project. An Architect was from Italy. He got in touch with Jignesh and trusted him. Jignesh was referred to the Architect by a supplier of swimming pool equipment based out of Italy. When Jignesh met the client, he has not done any pools. But he came with a high recommendation and trust from the Architect and bagged the order.
Business can be very tricky. For the next two years, he did not get any projects. It was testing times. In that time, Jignesh built his trust with Builders and Architects by meeting them regularly. His perseverance paid off. Jignesh now works with who’s who Builders, high end Architects across the country to deliver world class swimming pools.
H2O pools builds over 40 swimming pools every year with many new technology introduction in the industry. They have highest concern for environment. People think that swimming pools are wasting water when there is no water. But less that they know, 95% of the water in the swimming pool is cleaned and recycled. And the water can stay clean for over 4 years. Swimming pools give some of the highest level of mental satisfaction to the family, is a best exercise and is a stress buster.
There are many myths about owning a swimming pool. First is that it needs large space. Swimming pools can be built in a 10 x 10 ft space and can give do endless laps. Second, swimming pools are difficult to maintain. No, it is very easy and do not even need a professional to maintain swimming pools. Third, swimming pools are lifestyle products and hence are expensive. Again, this is a relative term. It can start at 5 lakhs only, which is not expensive for a decent villa.
There are many technologies to keep the water clean for a very long time. Hygiene checks can be made easily by a normal user. Spa, Jacuzi and water jets can be added to the pools for greater comfort and utility. Technology is growing at a very faster pace in this field. There are robotic cleaners, technologies such as ozonation and salt chlorination to keep the water clean.
Jignesh says that, every house should have a pool to experience the difference.
